The General Secretary of our Foundation visited the Embassy of Hungary

    On the morning of November 8^th , Mr. Zhang Zongwu, the General Secretary of our foundation, visited the Embassy of Hungary and received warm reception from Mr. Peter Deak, the officer of the Economic, Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy. They had a good talk together.

At first, Mr. Peter Deak expressed warm welcome to our visit. He gave a brief introduction of Hungary. As one of the “Belt & Road” countries, Hungary is located in the commercial centre of Europe, which is also the member of many organizations, such as European Union (EU), Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), World Trade Organization (WTO), European Community (EC) and the United Nations (UN). This year is the 67^th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Hungary and China, and both countries have kept a friendly diplomatic relationship with each other, as well as a close partnership in economy and trade. There is a large cooperative potential in agricultural products between two countries. Beef, pork, grape wine and many other agricultural products have gained certifications from Certification and Accreditation Administration of China(CACN), which greatly facilitates the future cooperation; Hungary has a favorable investment environment with highly developed telecommunication infrastruture and logistics system. Chinese enterprises are very much welcomed to go on business trips to Hungary.    

   Mr. Zhang Zongwu showed thanks to his warm reception. He expressed that our foundation and the Embassy of Hungary have supported each other and established a good friendship. Our foundation attended the Hungarian High-quality Agricultural Products Promotion on October 19^th, and gained a better knowledge of the various types and advantages of Hungarian agricultural products. We will help promote them to our membership companies. He pointed out that Premier Li Keqiang have attended the Summit Forum of China and Central and Eastern European Countries(CEEC), which has made some cooperative frameworks and put forward an open and inclusive partnership for mutual benefits with CEEC. In response of the call of “Belt & Road” Policy, our foundation will help Chinese enterprises know more about the investment environment and advantageous industries to attract them to invest in Hungary by holding forums, meeting, salons or other economic and trade activities. At the same time, with the platform of China-Africa Friendly International Trade Company, we will help build a communication bridge for Chinese and Hungarian enterprises to achieve mutual development. At last, Mr. Zhang Zongwu sincerely invited Mr. Peter Deak to attend the “2017 China-Africa Friendly Night”, which will be held in January , 2017. Mr. Peter Deak happily accepted the invitation and expressed his expectations for further cooperation with our foundation.

   This meeting accelerates the friendship between our foundation and the Embassy of Hungary, lays a solid foundation for China-Hungary economic and trade cooperation and makes contributions to mutual development.
