Our foundation organizes the business meeting for Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia with Chinese entrepreneurs

On 11th April, entrusted by Chinese government and the Embassy of the Republic of Namibia, our foundation organized a business meeting at Yuyang Hotel in Beijing for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, H.E. Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. Attendees also include officials from Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Dr Elia George Kaiyamo, Ambassador of the Embassy of Namibia in China and other diplomats, as well as some Chinese entrepreneurs.
Mr. Zhang Yi, the President of our foundation firstly, extended his most warm welcome to the delegation, and showed his gratitude to the trust from Embassy of Namibia. He briefly introduced the representatives from Chinese enterprises, including China Civil Engineering Construction Group Co. Ltd, China Railway International Group, China-Africa Agriculture Investment Co., Ltd, Sinohydro Engineering Bureau No. 4 Co, Ltd, XGMA Machinery (Jiaozuo) Co. Ltd, Xilinmen North Furniture Co. Ltd, Xingtai First Tractor Manufacturing Co. Ltd, Shandong Yun Da Kang Industrial Fibers Co., Ltd., and so on.
President Zhang introduced the major function, development history, resource advantages and great achievements. He pointed out that our foundation is the first and only foundation focusing on developing trade relations between China and African countries. We have established very close ties with African embassies in China. China and Namibia shared a time-honored traditional friendship, and top leaders of two governments have paid frequent visits to both countries, which promotes active exchanges in economy, trade and people-to-people exchanges. The Nation of Namibia has rich resources in mining and fishery industry and has a good prospect in future cooperation from all fields with China. Our foundation will strive to act as a bridge to create convenience for friendly exchanges between governments and enterprises of the two countries, thus taking economic, trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation to a new level.

H.E. Mrs. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed her thanks to our foundation for organizing this business meeting, and then followed by a brief introduction of the members of the delegation. Together they will go on a three-day official visit in China, aiming to boost bilateral trade and attract investment. She stressed that China and Namibia have built a strong trade partnership based on equality and mutual trust, and they cooperate with each other in many fields including agriculture, manufacturing, construction, trade investment, infrastructure and so on. Meanwhile, she would like to express gratitude on behalf of the government of Namibia to the government of China for the contribution in their country development and people’s happiness, and hope to make joint efforts with China to further promote the sustainable development of bilateral trade.

The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere, followed by the free and open communication and a business dinner between Chinese entrepreneurs and Namibian delegation. This meeting manifests our important role as a communication bridge between African governments and Chinese businesses, and shows the positive contributions our foundation has made for their cooperation. We sincerely hope that, through this meeting, the traditional friendship between China and Namibia will be further strengthened and more win-win cooperation will be facilitated through this meeting. Long live the friendship between China and Namibia from generation to generation!
