The General Secretary of our Foundation visits the Embassy of Greece

On the morning of April 21th , Mr. Zhang Zongwu, the General Secretary of our foundation, visited the Embassy of Greece and received warm reception from Mr. Emmanuel Stantzos,Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the embassy.They had a good talk together.The two sides discussed the SMEs’ investment and pragmatic cooperation under "The Belt and Road" framework.
The Secretary General expressed the appreciation to Mr.Emmanuel Stantzos for his attending the “The Belt and Road” Economic Salon which was held in March and wonderful speech in the salon, which provided the references for Chinese enterprises to invest in Greece.The Secretary General introduced the foundation’s business scope and partners, demonstrated outstanding achievements made through multilateral cooperation among China, Africa and countries along “Belt and Road” route. He pointed out that our foundation is mainly undertaking government entrusted projects.We have set up "The Belt and Road" Fund Management Committee in March this year, which will facilitate the economic and cultural exchanges between China and countries along “Belt and Road” route.He expected more cooperation in infrastructure, telecommunications, information technology and other fields, hoping the Greek Embassy could provide more convenience and information for Chinese enterprises, especially for SMEs. At the same time, Mr.Zhang introduced our China-Africa Friendly International Trade Company, which has accumulated rich bidding experience. We are looking forward to work with the Greek enterprises to achieve friendly cooperation in the future.
Mr.Emmanuel Stantzos expressed warm welcome to our visit. He gave a brief introduction of Greece.He elaborated the investment advantages in Greece, such as aluminum alloy industrial, cement, construction, etc. Some of the Middle East and Latin America's famous landmarks was designed and constructed by the Greek engineering company.Currently, the Greek government has set up Industrial Zones and Technology R&D Zones,Chinese enterprise is welcomed to invest in Greece.The embassy will strive to promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Greece, it will built a platform for bilateral economic and trade cooperation as well as provide more investment opportunities.
At last, Mr. Zhang Zongwu sincerely invited Mr.Emmanuel Stantzos to visit our foundation,which will promote the substantial progress on bilateral cooperation.This meeting accelerates the friendship between our foundation and the Embassy of Greece, lays a solid foundation for China-Greece economic and trade cooperation and makes contributions to mutual development.He emphases that the world is a linked universe, with the efforts of the foundation, the economic and trade bonds between China and countries along "Belt and Road” route will become increasingly closer. It will not only be conductive to the development of both sides, but also helpful for achieving the common prosperity.
