President Zhang visits Embassy of The Republic of Tanzania

On the morning of May 2nd, Mr. Zhang Yi, president of our foundation, visited H.E.Mr. Mbelwa Kairuku, Ambassador of the Embassy of Tanzania. Both sides had a pleasant conversation. Mr. Saidi H. Massoro, Minister Plenipotentiary of the embassy, also attended the meeting.
H.E.Mr. Ambassador warmly welcomed the visit of our president and appreciated our contributions in promoting China-Africa economic and trade exchanges. Ambassador hoped to coordinate with us for the benefit of African people and promote local economic development. He mentioned that the development of information technology had provided convenience for international exchanges. the Tanzanian people had learned rich experience from China's economic development process. Meanwhile, he appreciated the function played by our foundation in bilateral cooperation. Tanzania was one of the key countries in Africa which attaches great importance to the industrialization process. Tanzania-Zambia Railway represented the fruitful results of friendly cooperation between China and African countries, especially Tanzania. China had signed a number of trade agreements with Tanzania to create favorable conditions for the vigorous development of bilateral economy and trade. At the same time, the ambassador hoped to have comprehensive cooperation with China with the guideline of the Belt and Road Initiative. Finally, the Ambassador recommended to intensify cooperation with our foundation, encourage enterprises of both countries to actively participate in the forums, exhibitions and other economic and trade activities so as to promote bilateral economic and trade information exchanges and achieve win-win development.
President Zhang Yi expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Ambassador for his warm reception and appreciated the embassy for its long time support to us. He mentioned that the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative couldn't do without Africa. Our foundation, as a bridge for China-Africa friendly exchanges, will use its own advantageous resources to assist the Tanzanian Embassy in promoting economic, trade and cultural exchanges. At the same time, through China-Africa Friendly International Trade Co. Ltd., our foundation will help African enterprises enter Chinese markets. We look forward to have more pragmatic cooperation in various fields.
The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere. It helps forge closer ties between our foundation and the embassy, and contributes to bilateral traditional friendship and common development of China-Africa trade and economic cooperation.
