President Zhang Yi visited the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to China

In the afternoon of November 1, 2013, Mr. Zhang Yi, President of China-Africa Countries Trade Promotion Association (CACTPA) and head of its PR department Zhouyang held a meeting with the Governor of Nigeria’s Gombe State, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to China and the government delegation at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to China.

The Governor of Gombe State introduced the two leaders’ attention of Sino-Nigeria traditional friendship as well as the political, economic and investment environment. The State Governor expressed the willingness to promote extensive exchanges and cooperation with Chinese enterprises in terms of agriculture, mineral and tourism and hope the CACTPA can organize relative enterprises to make an on-the-spot investigation to Gombe State.

President Zhang Yi said it had been a great honor to hold a talk with the Governor of Gombe State and its government delegation and spoke highly of the profound Sino-Nigeria friendship. He also stressed his strongly support on Gombe State’s investment and development and will organize Chinese capable entrepreneurs to make investigations and investments to Gombe State and Abuja so as to reach an all-round cooperation among government to business and business to business. Respond positively to the principle of “going out” to make contributions in promoting Sino-African and Sino-Nigeria profound friendships and bilateral economic and trade cooperation in all fields.
