The General Secretary of our foundation visited the Embassy of Nepal
On the morning of August 24th, Mr. Zhang Zongwu, the General Secretary of our foundation visited the Embassy of Nepal and Mr. Harishchandra Ghimire, the Charges of Affairs gave us a warm reception. Both sides had a pleasant talk.

At first, Mr. Ghimire expressed his warm welcome and thanks to our visit. He said that China and Nepal has been keeping a neighborhood partnership from generations to generations and the China-Nepal friendship is longstanding and well-established. In March, 2016, the Premier Minister of Nepal visited China with a huge delegation and signed 10 agreements as well as memorandum of understanding, which has written a new chapter of the China-Nepal friendly relationship. As one of the “Belt & Road” countries and one of the close neighbors of China, Nepal would like to cooperate with Chinese companies in fields of water resources, hydropower, tourism, trade, leather, machine manufacturing, electrical and electronic engineering and so on. Nepal has provided many preferential policies on visas or investment for Chinese people and enterprises, and they are very welcome Chinese people and enterprises to travel or invest in Nepal.
Mr. Zhang Zongwu also expressed his thanks to Mr. Ghimire’s warm reception. He introduced the function of our foundation and fruitful performances we have got , which was spoken highly of by Mr. Ghimire. Under the guidance of “Belt & Road” policy, our foundation not only engages in the economic and trade communication with African countries, but also pays great attention to building good relationships with “Belt & Road” countries by holding economic and trade activities with them. Our foundation will promote the bilateral economic and trade friendly communication and cooperation by receiving delegations of senior officials, organizing Chinese delegations to go on business trips, forums , promotions or meetings. We will spare no efforts to facilitate bilateral economy and trade and achieve mutual prosperity.
This meeting accelerated the good relationship between our foundation and the Embassy of Nepal, strengthened the traditional China-Nepal friendship, laid a solid foundation for bilateral economic and trade communication and cooperation, and made contributions to the boom of China-Nepal economy and trade.
