Mr. Zhang Zongwu, The General Secretary visited Embassy of Nigeria

    On the morning of September 1st, Mr. Zhang Zongwu, the General Secretary of our foundation, visited the Embassy of Nigeria and received the warm reception from Mr. Sani Bako , the Minister Plenipotentiary of Embassy of Nigeria. They had a good talk together.

Mr. Sani Bako expressed warm welcome to our visiting and heartfelt thanks to our contribution to the China-Nigeria economic and trade communication. He said that Nigeria has  large market potential owing to the largest population of all the African countries. Nigeria is the the largest oil production and exporting African country and is eager to cooperate with Chinese companies. In April, 2016, the President of Nigeria visited China, which laid a solid foundation for  multilateral cooperation between China and Nigeria. The Embassy of Nigeria would like to strengthen partnership with our foundation to organize forums or other activities together so as to accelerate the exchanges between Chinese and Nigerian companies and infuse strength to China-Nigeria economic and trade.

  Mr. Zhang Zongwu showed thanks to the warm reception. He said that our foundation has established very good relationship with Nigeria. We have successfully organized reception activities for two Nigeria Presidents and the Promotion of Nigeria Lekki Free Trade Zone, which has built close friendship with Nigeria. As the economic and trade communication platform, on one hand, our foundation will help African countries find trustworthy Chinese partners, on the other hand, we will help Chinese companies go global and develop the globalization strategy. Nigeria is the biggest economy community, which regards the oil industry as the main industry. Our foundation will try our best to help promote the oil industry of Nigeria by providing related useful information such as forums, exhibitions and so on. Both sides can join together to hold big economic and trade activities in the future, besides, we will offer support in agriculture industry. We hope that a good communication platform will be offered to facilitate the economic and trade exchanges between China and Nigeria.

The meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere, which strengthens the friendship between the Embassy of Nigeria and our foundation, as well as makes favorable conditions for furthering the cooperation so as to achieve the mutual development.
