commercial cooperation between the two countries at the meeting.
Belarus is an important strategic country for China’s One Belt, One Road initiative,
located at the East Europe Plain, having rich natural resources and relatively
mature manufactures. Senior Counselor Batyanovsky explained that the China-
Belarus relationship will only become better, following Chinese Chairman Xi
Jinping’s visit to Belarus in May and Belarus Presidents attending the military
parade in memory of world antiFascism success. He also introduced about the
industrial park collaborated by China and Belarus. He said the Chairman Xi
called the industrial park as “a pearl on the One Belt, One Road” and Chairman
Xi hoped that the Park will be an example in the entire One Belt, One Road
initiative. Therefore, Counselor Batyanovsky encouraged Chinese investment
in Belatus.
Secretarygeneral Zhang highly agreed with the regional cooperation raised by
Senior Counselor Batyanovsky and expressed that our institution will work with
Belarus and its embassy in promoting its investment environment to Chinese
entrepreneurs. Secretarygeneral Zhang said that, our institution has achieved
great results in organizing trade promotional activities and bridging Chinese
entrepreneurs with overseas ones. Senior Counselor Batyanovsky said that this
dialogue is a great beginning of our cooperation and he will discuss in details for
any further projects. Secretarygeneral Zhang said that our institution will work
with the embassy, hoping to contribute to deepening the trade relationship betw-
een China and Belarus, and he also invited Senior Counselor Batyanovsky to
vist us at our office for further discussions.
